Functional Training

This instructional video explains the basics of functional training and highlights key benefits and overall physical development.

Functional training is based on natural human movements, the same patterns we use in daily tasks. Movements like pushing and squatting are common examples in functional training sessions. A central focus is strengthening the core (abdominal and lumbar area), which helps stabilize posture and improve movement control.

Important: Children, older adults, and pregnant women can practice functional training when a professional adapts the activity to each case. Before starting, a medical evaluation and a physical assessment are recommended.
